Technical Description
CBI is a computer programmed balancing instrument. It consists of an electronic differential pressure gauge
and a micro computer which has been programmed with the TA valve characteristics
which makes possible a direct reading of flow and differential pressures.
The CBI has two main components:
An instrument which contains a micro computer, in-feed and out-feed units
(set of push buttons and display) and re-chargeable batteries and a built-in charger.
A sensor unit which contains a piezoresistive pressure sensor, one
measurement valve and connecting hoses. The measurement valve has
a safety function which protects the sensor from too high differential pressures.
Range
Total pressure: max 200 mH2O Differential pressure: 0 to 20 mH2O
Flow: During flow measurements the pressure range is limited to 0.05 to
20 mH2O.
Temperature: -5 to 100°C (optional PCB)
Temperature liquid medium:
-10 to 120°C
Measurement Error:
Differential pressure: 0.02 mH2O or 1% of reading whichever is the highest.
Flow: As for pressure + valve deviation. Temperature: ± 0.2°C + probe’s deviation (optional PCB)
Effective Operating Time::
50 to 100 h between charges depending upon application.
Ambient Temperature for the Instrument: :
0 to 40°C (during operation)
-20 to 60°C (storage)
